I am a first-generation, Argentine-American pursuing a B.S in Advertising at UF. I will be graduating this December, 2021. I identify as a creative bilingual who is passionate about the importance of self-expression and advocacy for modern social issues. With every role I fill, I aspire to make a positive impact in someone’s life. With camera in hand, I spend my day-to-day life planning photo stories and individual pieces that explore the depths of mental health, spiritual practices and every other piece of worldly beauty. Outside of the creative world, I enjoy working out, being with my plants and playing with my cat-child, George.

Hello! My name is Malyna Reed

(that’s mah-leh-nah).

In addition to my personal work, I recently finished the most gratifying internship with Sony Music Latin-Iberia. I worked as a Creative Marketing intern under Lennyn Salinas, truly acting as an Art Director for our team. My internship was filled with designing album covers for big Latino artists and working on strategic approaches to events like the Latin Grammys.

During my academic semesters I work as a Media Specialist at The Lastinger Center located on the main campus of The University of Florida. Here, I lead production projects concerning early-learning topics such as kindergarten readiness and reading proficiency. I am also the production team’s on-sight photographer. This role is something I have enjoyed for almost three years now, as I get to learn how our company positively impacts the lives of students across the nation.
